Position Type Full time Job Description Position Purpose: Prepare Tooling designs for the Rolling Mills and Assembly departments and Support Manufacturing with Corrective Actions and Continuous Improvement Essential Functions: - Prepare tooling designs as required for the New Product Schedule. - Produce detail tooling drawings. - Assist with the manufacture of tooling as appropriate - Supervise first use to ensure appropriate shapes, installation and efficient use - Coordinate and ensure acceptable rework if necessary - Design and develop efficient tooling for the Rolling Mills and Production Assembly - Incorporate standardization and quick‑change methods whenever appropriate - Document and catalogue all tooling lists for set‑up and control purposes. - Maintain drawings current Education and Training - Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Technologist Degree (or equivalent) - 5 years Tooling Design Experience Minimum Qualifications - Problem Solving and Project Management experience - Working knowledge of APQP and IATF requirements - Demonstrated working knowledge in MasterCam Compensation 85000- 90000 Hendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
