Production Associate (Hensall)

Job Description: - Operate a variety of Rollforming and Metal processing equipment, throughout various production areas, producing high quality Steel Roofing and Siding products according to customer orders - Follow applicable safety policies and procedures to ensure your personal safety, the safety of others and the safe operation of equipment - Ability to set up, adjust and calibrate equipment based on specifications for standard and custom orders after training is provided - Read and interpret the production orders to produce and package orders according to customer requirements - Keep accurate record of production orders, verifying and completing required documentation related to production and inventory - Load and unload material onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks and/or pallets. - Prepare, stage and assist in loading for deliveries and customer pick-ups; including picking accessories for orders - Assist in receiving of inventory, including unloading coils, accessories and other related warehouse items - Operate a variety of fork lifts to assist in production, warehousing, shipping & receiving - Perform daily equipment safety inspections - Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical problems - Assist in daily/weekly facility maintenance and cleaning to maintain a clean and protected work environment - Demonstrate superior internal and external customer service - Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures - Willingness to assist in other production and warehouse duties when required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED - Prior experience operating machinery or equipment - Forklift experience is required - Physical ability to lift, stand for prolong periods and work in a high pace work environment - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to effectively manage priorities and workflows - Excellent organizational skills Shift: - Day Shift (8am – 5pm); Seasonal Overtime Job Type: Full-time Benefits: - Dental care - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - Paid time off - Profit sharing - RRSP match Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p0a4x
