Production Operator/Assembler Night Shift, Stratford South

Position summary: Performs routine inspection of products for conformance to specific product standards. Properly load and unload various types of production equipment/fixtures. Perform various types of assembly and packaging operations. Perform housekeeping tasks as assigned.

Position duties: May include, but are not limited to, the following:

Visually inspect, assemble and pack parts per work instructions and packaging diagram.

Perform routine inspection of product to standard.

Complete inspection audit reports, where applicable.

Keep the supervisor informed of any documents and any abnormalities in the production flow and product quality.

Records appropriate data collections as required.

Inform Technicians of any non-conforming parts found in a timely manner.

Attend all required meetings and training when scheduled.

Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Must be knowledgeable in required personal protective equipment.

Regular and predictable attendance.

Must be a team player.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE No minimum requirements are in place for this position.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS Must observe and practice all safety regulations. This includes the wearing and proper usage of the necessary personal protective equipment required for any task.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. May have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Must be able to stand continuously for the duration of the scheduled shift.
