Responsibilities and Duties Reporting to the Yard Manager Overseeing all functions of the vehicle, such as condition of the vehicle, equipment and materials, loading and unloading. Maintaining the general upkeep and care of the vehicle and reporting any maintenance and/or operating problems. Full time- Up to 44 hours a week. Reporting any and all Maintenance issues - including Reefer, Damage, Services needed, Annuals coming due, etc. Daytime position – washing equipment, assisting the yard manager with shunting, delivering trailers and trucks to repair shops in the area, delivering the odd load to customers Main duties are washing equipment, moving trailers in and out of docks for production, bringing equipment to and from the shop including Speedy glass, Welding shop, and fueling reefers Keeping the yard manager and the distribution team updated on what you are doing throughout the day Qualifications and Skills Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English and have basic math skills. Candidate must have a valid AZ license, Driver's Abstract, CVOR Abstract and an acceptable driving record.
