The Breeder Farm Assistant Farm Manager Full‑Time position is responsible for specific farm operations during the work week, including general farm duties such as ensuring the poultry flock is taken care of and eggs are gathered, with additional repair and maintenance responsibilities during the absence of the Farm Owner. Responsibilities

Handling eggs such as cleaning, sorting, collecting, and quality inspection General cleaning/sanitation of the work area Completion of required paperwork Ensure adequate requirements for bird health are met Monitor operations within the barns Training as required SAP data entry Repair and maintenance of equipment Barn cleaning – extensive operation of pressure washer Operation of farm machinery including telehandler and steiner Other duties as assigned Please provide work and character references Qualifications

Demonstrated commitment to secure work practices Adhere to and enforce all CHEQ/Biosecurity procedures Humane euthanizing training and certification provided Farm experience an asset Reliable transportation – must have a valid driver’s license Ability to troubleshoot equipment as needed Willing and able to work occasional statutory holidays and an average of 2 weekends per month Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently Leadership experience an asset Must live within 25 kilometres of the farm Location

Listowel, ON – reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
