Join Chippewas of the Thames First Nation as an Intake & Assessment Worker, providing vital mental health services in Muncey, Ontario. You will be the first point of contact for clients, guiding them through holistic assessments and suitable referrals. This position focuses on culturally informed assessments that foster a healing journey. In collaboration with the mental health team, you will develop service plans while ensuring inclusivity and respect for First Nation values. Your expertise will support clients, families, and community members in accessing necessary mental health resources. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct strength-based client assessments and intake • Explain available healing options and services • Develop care plans partnering with individuals and families • Maintain communication with supervisors and community partners • Support program evaluations and quality improvement Requirements: • Degree in Social Work, Indigenous Studies, or related field • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in service delivery • Understanding of intergenerational trauma and wellness • First Aid/CPR certification • Clean CPIC and valid driver’s license Deliver your expertise in mental health and cultural sensitivity as part of the team.
