We are currently seeking a Painter for our paint booth to join our manufacturing team. In this role, your responsibilities will include painting and finishing window and door components in a fast-paced production environment under the direction of a Production Supervisor. Prior manufacturing experience, particularly in window or door production, is considered an asset. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities while supporting overall production goals. Primary Responsibilities: - Follow secure work practices, company policies, and PPE requirements - Follow established procedures and processes to ensure quality and timely production - Operate paint booth equipment and spray guns to apply coatings and finishes according to specifications. - Learn and perform all operations within the paint department, including painting, cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming surfaces - Read and interpret work instructions, production schedules, technical drawings, and paint specifications. - Inspect products and finished materials to ensure proper coverage, color match, texture, cleanliness, and overall quality standards - Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of spray equipment, hoses, guns, and paint booth areas. - Identify and report defects, equipment malfunctions, or quality concerns to supervisors. - Maintain productivity while demonstrating strong attention to detail and quality workmanship - Perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination - Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods - Support a respectful and team-oriented work environment - Organize and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills - Work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team - Support continuous improvement initiatives and company quality standards - Maintain valuable attendance and a strong safety record Qualifications and required skills: - High school diploma or GED required - Manufacturing or production experience considered an asset - Industrial or spray-painting experience preferred - Experience in window or door manufacturing an asset - Ability to read and use a tape measure - Basic English reading and writing skills - Strong attention to detail and quality standards - Ability to work in a physically demanding environment - Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Shifts of work: Monday to Friday, 2-week rotation shift work - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 3:30 PM to midnight. Possibility of midnights depending on department of work. Overtime possibilities during the week or weekend, as the need arises.
