Norbec Plant Engineering Manager (Strathroy)

Become a pivotal part of Norbec’s expansion as a Plant Maintenance & Manufacturing Engineering Department Manager at our new facility in Strathroy, Ontario. Oversee capital projects and enhance operational efficiency in our manufacturing processes. This hands-on role requires significant experience in manufacturing and engineering leadership. You’ll be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the reliability of our production equipment. Robust project management skills and a commitment to team success are essential. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and provide technical direction to engineering teams - Review and prepare project documentation - Oversee equipment installation and commissioning - Own capital project scopes, schedules, and budgets - Guarantee effective collaboration across all departments Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar - At least 10 years of relevant manufacturing experience - Knowledge of PLCs and continuous improvement techniques - Proficiency in asset management systems and Microsoft tools - Leadership skills focused on accountability and team dynamics Lead Norbec’s efforts in sustainability and innovation while driving effective manufacturing initiatives.
