About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team. This role involves providing direct, hands-on care to individuals with diverse and often complex needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position requires flexible availability, typical shifts are evenings from 18:00-22:00 or 19:00-23:00. This positing is for an existing vacancy. What You Will Do - Deliver high-quality nursing care using the nursing process, aligned with company policies and client care plans - Promote client independence while considering individual strengths, needs, and limitations - Provide consultation and support to fellow nursing colleagues - Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports - Support clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, and washroom assistance - Monitor clients and their environment to ensure safety and promptly report any concerns - Assist with safe arrival and departure of clients as required - Perform nursing care and client assessments based on individual needs - Assist with mobility, emergency response, and activity programming when needed - Complete and submit incident reports - Perform additional duties as assigned What We’re Looking For - Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) - Current CPR or BLS certification - Current Vulnerable Sector Screening (less then 12 months old) - Strong assessment skills and experience providing direct client care - Excellent time management, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills - Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities - Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle - Physical ability to meet job demands - Comfortable working independently in home care settings - Must be comfortable working in a home with pets If you are a compassionate, dedicated nursing professional looking to make a meaningful impact while supporting clients needs, we would love to hear from you.
