Coordinator for Anti-Human Trafficking Support (Strathroy)

Make a difference with WRRC as an Anti-Human Trafficking Coordinator, delivering specialized, survivor-centered support in rural Middlesex County. Address crises and advocate for victims effectively. In this full-time role, you will work closely with diverse teams, including the Shelter Supervisor and Lead Counsellor. You'll provide trauma-informed care, conduct assessments, and ensure case management aligns with survivor needs. Collaborating with community partners, your efforts will focus on creating protected housing solutions while addressing systemic barriers for survivors of human trafficking. Key Responsibilities: - Provide trauma-informed support to survivors in crisis - Conduct needs assessments and safety planning - Maintain timely and ethical documentation - Integrate anti-trafficking responses in shelter operations - Advocate for survivors and address service gaps Requirements: - Post-secondary education in relevant fields - 2-3 years of experience supporting survivors - Strong understanding of gender-based violence - Ability to manage complex cases and documentation - Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) Utilize your skills and knowledge to actively support survivors of human trafficking with a trauma-informed approach at WRRC.
