Join Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital as a part time Accounts Receivable Clerk, focusing on billing and payment processes for patients and insurers. This role offers a crucial position in the Finance Department. As part of the Middlesex Hospital Alliance, you will report to the Finance Manager, ensuring the accurate processing of outgoing billings and incoming payments. You will also enhance revenue collection and maintain excellent communication with external customers such as insurance companies and patients while minimizing delinquent accounts. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and collect hospital revenues efficiently • Initiate timely communications for payment arrangements • Support clerical tasks and telephone communications • Safeguard and reconcile receivables monthly • Assist Finance team with additional tasks Requirements: • Minimum three years of experience in accounting • Community College business program graduate • Medical Terminology training preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting systems • Ability to manage difficult conversations professionally Bring your expertise in revenue management and communication skills to the team at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
