Role Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Contract Administrator to support the successful administration and coordination of contracts throughout various project phases. This entry-level role is ideal for someone beginning their career in contract administration, construction, architecture, engineering, or project coordination. The Junior Contract Administrator will assist with document management, project coordination, communication between stakeholders, and ensuring contractual processes are followed accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Contract Administration, consultants, and project managers to help support project delivery and maintain organized project records. This is a full-time, on-site role, located in the Greater Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo Metropolitan Area. Key Responsibilities - Assist with the preparation, review, and administration of project contracts and related documentation - Support project teams with contract tracking, change orders, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and project correspondence - Maintain organized and accurate digital and physical project files - Coordinate and distribute contract documents to consultants, contractors, and clients as required - Monitor project deadlines, deliverables, and contract milestones - Support the review of invoices, payment applications, and project documentation for completeness - Attend project meetings and assist with recording and distributing meeting minutes - Communicate professionally with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors - Ensure compliance with company standards, project requirements, contractual obligations and regulatory compliance - Provide general administrative and project support as needed Qualifications & Requirements - Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related field - 0–3 years of related experience in contract administration, construction, architecture, engineering, or project coordination - Strong organizational and time management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - High attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) - Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and other design software - Familiarity with construction/project management software is considered an asset - Basic understanding of contracts, construction documents, and project workflows is an asset - Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment What We Offer - The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. - The determination of an applicant’s salary within this range is based on the individual’s skills, competencies, and qualifications.
