Seasonal Farm Worker in Rural Area, Mount Brydges

Join our seasonal farming team to cultivate melons and vegetables in a hands-on role. This position offers 40 to 60 hours of outdoor work each week.

We are seeking a dedicated farm worker for our fruit and vegetable combination farm. Ideal candidates have previous experience but it is not mandatory, as training is available. Your responsibilities will include various farming tasks, such as hand harvesting, packing produce, and maintaining equipment in demanding outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities:• Hoe between rows for effective crop growth • Harvest, pack, and sort fresh vegetables • Clear fields of debris and maintain cleanliness • Detect crop diseases and health issues in livestock • Compile daily progress reports on farm activities

Requirements:• Authorized to work in Canada • Availability to start on required date • Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 13.5 kg) • Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions • Previous farming experience is a plus
