Job Overview
We currently have an opening for a Supply Chain Planner. This is a full‑time position responsible for the fundamental theories, principles and concepts of Supply Chain, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. Performs routine assignments with an understanding of how the role fits into the larger business process and can be effective in business processes outside the role’s tasks. Role is transactional/tactical with the remainder of time focused on continuous improvement.Responsibilities
Develop, optimize and integrate detailed production schedules/supplier plans in a lean environment to achieve the business goals. Implement, maintain and improve material replenishment models including visual Kanban, and/or MRP system for internal and external components. Understand and communicate value stream and/or supply chain capacity and constraints.Maintain relationships with internal and external partners including suppliers/supervisors, team leads, logistics and warehouse groups and Associate Planners. Coordinate procurement/scheduling of material to match production demands. Communicate/present lean tools applications such as value stream and process mapping.Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Required Skills&Experience
Minimum 3 years in a lean manufacturing setting. Advanced computer skills with experience in MS Office, ERP and reporting systems. Practical working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools such as pull systems, PDCA thinking, value stream mapping, process mapping and Kanban systems. Practical working knowledge of supply chain technologies (ERP, MES - manufacturing executions system, WMS - warehouse management systems).Strong communication skills through written, verbal and listening and presentation skills. Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving. Demonstrates urgency and takes responsibility for addressing issues. Effectively collaborates with others, involving team members in decisions that impact their work and appreciating alternate points of view.Salary&Work Hours
Pay Range: $28.05– $35.06 per hour. Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Benefits
