Your main responsibilities

Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules;

Attend site visits and collect data with total stations and other instruments;

Support the Project Manager and Field Supervisor with field responsibilities such as instrument installations and maintenance;

Field compaction testing;

Field and laboratory concrete testing;

Pre-blast surveys;

Vibration monitoring;

Settlement monitoring;

Prepare technical reports;

Participate in preconstruction site visits and field inspections;

Maintain accurate and organized project documentation;

Pursue continuous self-learning and professional development opportunities.

What makes you unique

Has a College Diploma (civil, geotechnical) or other applicable degree in an engineering or technology-based field;

Has a valid provincial driver’s license and access to reliable transportation;

Excellent communication skills;

Previous experience in materials testing, surveying, or blasting services is an asset;

Current CCIL certification is an asset;

Consistently executing prescribed technical procedures, safe work practices and work plans in a safe, efficient manner.

The salary range for this position is $47,934 to $62,913 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.

Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit. We aim to foster transparency, respect candidate time and ensure equitable compensation aligned with our company values.
