Procurement specialist with chemical background needed in Mentor immediately for a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY! The procurement manager is responsible for the following: Act as liaison between the business and strategic vendors to lead initiative and continually improve the procurement process. Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendorsNegotiating with suppliers and vendors Preforming risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements Vendor compliance COI, W9 Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers/vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions Fleet management oversight keep abreast of changing industry trends Material ordering and job costingConduct analyses of business needs and lead the development and documentation. Preferred Qualifications: Procurement or Purchasing manager, strongly prefer the chemical industry.
