Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including stations and utensils - Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times - Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations - Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts - Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food safety, and hygiene standards Skills - Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting - Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and best practices - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced workplace - Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety - Experience with food service operations, including serving and meal assembly is preferred - Passion for culinary arts with an eye for detail in food presentation This position is integral to delivering exceptional dining experiences through quality food preparation and teamwork.
