Overview: Part time possibly leading to full time. 25 hours for sure to start minimum. Definitely flexible in scheduling. Experience in Italian cooking is a must. We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and be knowledgeable in kitchen operations. Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping - Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes - Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and organizing supplies - Ensure all food meets quality standards and is served in a timely manner - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations Skills: - Proficiency in food safety practices - Experience in food handling and meal preparation - Knowledge of kitchen operations within a restaurant setting - Ability to work efficiently as part of a team - Strong understanding of food industry standards and practices - Previous experience in food service or food preparation roles is preferred This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment, develop culinary skills, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences.
