Description
As a Inventory & Logistics Coordinator at Osella Technologies your duties are diverse and paramount to the execution of our customer projects. Any individual in this role must be passionate, focused and self-motivated to exceed customer, employee and ownership expectations. Reporting directly to the Shop Manager you will assist in supporting the Manufacturing, Assembly, Development and Delivery of complex automation and robotics equipment. When called upon by the VP of Finance you may be required to assist with other administrative duties. Duties: · Utilizing the companies software suite you are responsible for recording incoming goods daily. · Creation of shipping documents and tracking/management of outgoing goods for secondary treatment as directed by Job Build Leaders or Shop Manager. · With previous industry knowledge, you inspect incoming goods to ensure they meet the requirements for quality and or dimensional accuracy. · Management of all goods incoming associated to job builds in progress. This includes “kitting” of goods by department, project or sub assembly. Assist in packaging outgoing parts, customer and vendor supplied, as required. Deal directly with shipping and courier companies. · Inventory systems management, movement of inventory and surplus goods to allocated jobs / prep data for accounting journal vouchers. Monitor and adjust min/max levels, and trigger re-orders as required. · Management of BOM updating and reconciliation of in-house manufactured items · Pick-up and delivery of goods locally as required. The safe use of company vehicles and fork trucks as required to perform these duties. · Shipping and Receiving of Customer supplied parts. Tracking and record keeping of in-house inventory of such parts by Customer, Program, Job, etc. · Assist with the coordination and related documentation to export and deliver large pieces of equipment throughout North America. · Ensuring that company vehicles maintenance and repairs are done on time; records are logged and maintained. · Various administrative duties as assigned by Shop Manager or VP of Finance. Qualifications: · Valid Canadian driver license & clean driving record (abstract) · Previous Fork Truck experience (recertification provide if needed) · Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills required · Excellent written and verbal communication skills required · Prior experience in an equipment manufacturing environment · Excellent interpersonal skills · Previous experience with data entry and ERP software · Proficiency within MS Office suite of software. · Valid Passport with ability to travel to the US for deliveries Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week Perks: - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - Profit sharing - RRSP match - Vision care Flexible language requirement: - French not required Ability to commute/relocate: - Oldcastle, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o48y9
