Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including stations and utensils Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food safety, and hygiene standards Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and best practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced workplace Solid understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety Experience with food service operations, including serving and meal assembly is preferred Passion for culinary arts with an eye for detail in food presentation This position is integral to delivering exceptional dining experiences through quality food preparation and teamwork.
