Senior Design and Surfacing Expert Needed, Lakeshore

SyBridge Technologies Canada Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Senior Designer and Surfacer skilled in mold solutions. This position emphasizes mold design and Class A surfacing using CATIA software in a high-demand manufacturing setting.

In your role, you will directly support the Engineering Department, ensuring the highest standards of quality and functionality in mold designs. You will report to the Engineering Manager, whose leadership will empower you to collaborate across multiple teams to meet project objectives. Your attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently will enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:• Lead engineering projects for mold and surface design development • Develop Class A surfaces, verifying functional aspects • Modify cooling and ejection systems as needed • Attend customer meetings to provide critical insights • Mentor junior team members to cultivate skills

Requirements:• 7+ years experience in mold design and surfacing • Proficient in CATIA V5 for mold-related tasks • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills • Ability to work autonomously under pressure
