Truck Driver Oldcastle

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Full time Truck Driver (Day Shift) to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting moulds, dies, materials, and equipment to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time across Ontario and the United States. Duties: Operate commercial vehicles, including stake trucks, flatbeds, and pickup trucks, to transport goods and materials Perform local, regional, and cross-border (U.S.) deliveries Load and unload cargo using forklifts and overhead cranes Secure loads using chains, straps, clamps, and blocking materials Follow all safety protocols and regulations while driving and operating equipment Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles Plan routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines Communicate with the Manufacturing Manager and Shipping team to coordinate deliveries Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, inspection reports, bills of lading, and customs documentation Maintain accurate records of hours worked and mileage Assist with general shop duties, packing, and material handling when required Requirements: Valid DZ Driver’s License with a clean driving record Minimum 5 years of commercial driving experience Experience with Canada–U.S. cross-border deliveries preferred Proficient in operating forklifts and overhead cranes Knowledge of vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physically capable of loading/unloading and securing heavy materials Excellent communication and customer service skills Work Schedule: Day Shift (Monday to Friday) Minimum 40 hours per week Overtime may be required based on business needs Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, stable employment How to Apply: If you meet the requirements for this position and are looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity as a Truck Driver, we encourage you to apply.
