Support Engineer (Oldcastle) (Tecumseh)

HRYCAY Consulting Engineers Inc. (HCEI), a leading Canadian forensic engineering firm providing accident investigation and analysis services for over 30 years in Canada and the United States, is seeking a Support Engineer to work out of our Windsor office. Requirements & Desired Qualifications - Must be eligible to work in Canada and the USA - Willing to relocate within 40 minutes of Windsor, ON - Must possess a valid Canadian passport or Government Issued Landed Immigrant Card and driver’s license with no travel restrictions - Ability to travel freely (including, but not limited to, renting cars and travelling on commercial flights) - Must have completed post‑secondary education in the field of Mechanical Engineering - Computer proficiency with AutoCad, Rhino (2D & 3D software), MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Able to work in hot and cold conditions - Able to work individually or as part of a team - Hands on mechanically inclined individual Duties and Responsibilities - Travel to various locations in Canada and throughout the USA to complete vehicle and site inspections - Complete vehicle and site drawings using CAD software to create analysis figures - Compile data for clients including letters, drawings, engine download data, photo albums and analysis memos - Complete engineering analysis and calculations as required - Analyze and download Airbag Control Modules (ACM) from passenger vehicles, Engine Control Units (ECU) from heavy vehicles - Compile information to complete files - Complete engineering calculations as required - Complete site surveys using a Total Station Survey and 3D scanner - Knowledge of heavy commercial and/or automotive mechanical systems with emphasis on braking systems and/or on‑board computer diagnostic components - Complete further training to advance in the field of forensic automotive accident reconstruction - Use of various design and engineering tools such as Cyclone, Faro, Leica 3D scanner, Total Station, AutoCAD, Cyclone, Scene, and Rhino Benefits - Dental care - Extended health care - RRSP match - Vision care HCEI offers a challenging work setting and a market‑competitive salary and benefits package.
