Senior certification auditor (Terrebonne)

We are seeking an auditor to join our assurance team in Terrebonne, Quebec. Job Overview Mallette is the fourth largest accounting firm in Quebec, with more than 1,600 professionals across nearly 40 offices. The auditor will conduct review, compilation, and audit engagements for clients across various sectors and supervise junior staff. Responsibilities - Carry out review engagements, compilation engagements and audit mandates while ensuring compliance with the Income Tax Act and other statutory requirements. - Prepare financial statements, corporate and trust tax returns and other financial reports. - Provide customized recommendations to improve clients' accounting practices and financial situation. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant experience. - CPA designation or in the process of obtaining one. - At least three years of relevant experience. - Knowledge of IT tools such as Office suite, Taxprep and CaseWare. - Robust sense of autonomy, sharp professional judgment, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines, and ability to work as part of a team, collaborate and prioritize customer service.
