Their platform supports large-scale money movement across a global network of users and transaction flows. This backend‑leaning engineering role is focused on building and scaling the core systems that power high‑volume transaction processing and internal platform infrastructure. The team is looking for someone comfortable operating with autonomy, moving quickly through ambiguity, and making pragmatic technical decisions in a rapid‑growing workplace. Develop and iterate on production systems handling large volumes of data and real-time platform activity Contribute to architecture decisions around scalability, reliability, and system performance Partner closely with engineering peers to ship current platform capabilities and improve core infrastructure Participate in technical hiring by helping source, interview, and assess engineering talent 7+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade backend systems Proven track record shipping and iterating on complex software products or applications Hands‑on experience with Python backend development in production environments Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerized systems, ideally within AWS environments This is an opportunity to work on infrastructure operating at significant scale while helping shape the technical direction of a growing fintech platform.
