We’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented
Engineering Student
in our Structural Analysis department at our
Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
office. This is a 4 month mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in September 2026. Overall the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.
Under the supervision of a senior analyst, the successful candidate will perform structural analyses of space antennas and electronic equipment using the finite element method.
Responsibilities
Analyses will include static, dynamic and thermoelastic analyses
Using commercial software or software developed at MDA, the candidate will calculate the safety margins of components
The candidate will size components, identify problems and suggest modifications if necessary
The candidate may be required to generate test procedures and structural analysis or test reports to demonstrate compliance of subsystems
Experience And Skills Required
Completion of 90 Bachelor's degree credits in Mechanical Engineering prior to the start of the internship with a GPA above 3.2 / 4.0
Demonstrate a sense of initiative
Desirable Skills
Successfully completed a course in finite element analysis
Knowledge of Nx software
Bilingual
