Part-Time Computer Science Instructor, Chaudière-Nord (Saint-Joseph-De-Beauce)

John Abbott College is seeking a part-time Computer Science Instructor to teach students in pre-university and professional programs. This role requires strong communication skills and teaching experience.

This position is temporarily replacing an instructor on leave, focusing on delivering impactful Computer Science courses. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience. Bilingual candidates with the ability to teach in French are highly preferred, aligning with Bill 96 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:• Teach Computer Science courses in pre-university and professional programs • Collaborate with departmental teams for common goals • Maintain effective communication with students and staff • Adapt curriculum as needed to meet teaching requirements • Ensure a supportive learning environment for all students

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in the field • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level is preferred • Excellent English communication skills • Bilingualism in English and French is preferred
