Become a pivotal contributor at MDA as a Senior Flight Software System Engineer. Lead embedded flight software applications that power cutting-edge satellite and payload systems in a team-oriented environment. In this senior role, you will define the FSW architecture and drive trade studies for remote sensing and communications satellite programs. Your expertise will guide system design, implementation, and validation while ensuring FDIR capabilities for current and future missions. Key Responsibilities: • Gather and translate mission requirements from stakeholders • Define FSW architecture and allocate software modules • Collaborate with cybersecurity for design resilience • Produce Interface Control Documents for subsystems • Mentor junior engineers and interns Requirements: • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field • 10+ years in fault-tolerant systems design • Expertise with CCSDS, ECSS, and PUS services • Hands-on experience with embedded Linux and real-time systems • Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus Drive excellence in satellite flight software at MDA as you innovate and oversee critical missions.
