Pursue teaching excellence in a setting committed to First Nations students. Ideal candidates will possess Intermediate/Senior qualifications in English, Math, Science, or Technology and a firm understanding of cultural values. This is a full-time, permanent teaching position aimed at enhancing educational opportunities within the Indigenous community. Applicants should have an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification and show a keen sensitivity to First Nations culture. Experience working with Indigenous students is highly valued, alongside computer proficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Design cutting-edge lesson plans tailored for diverse classrooms • Support First Nations cultural relevance in education • Collaborate with other educators to improve student outcomes • Document student progress and outline assessment strategies • Engage students through interactive learning experiences Requirements: • Membership with the Ontario College of Teachers required • Teaching experience with First Nations students preferred • Intermediate/Senior qualifications in key subject areas • Robust technology literacy for teaching • Legal eligibility to work in Canada Shape the future of high school students by fostering a culturally responsive educational setting.
