Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin is currently building a pipeline of experienced Recruiters for upcoming contract opportunities with our valued client in Whitby, ON. These opportunities are anticipated to support departments including Public Works, Social Services, and Long-Term Care, and will offer hybrid work arrangements with 2 days in office. This is a 6 month contract with potential for an extension. Advantages & Perks Compensation: $30 to $45/hour Please note, this role is a hybrid work model (2 days at Client’s Whitby, ON office) 6 month contract with potential for an extension. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment processes including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, timelines, and workforce requirements Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and proactive outreach strategies Conduct phone and virtual interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and fit Coordinate interviews and maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate tracking within applicant tracking systemsProvide recruitment updates and hiring recommendations to internal stakeholders Support recruitment projects and assist with process improvements as needed Qualifications Previous experience in full-cycle recruitment within corporate, public sector, healthcare, or high-volume environments Robust communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and hiring managers Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting Experience using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools Robust organizational skills and attention to detail Professional, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment To be considered, applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, including holding any required permits.
