The role is located at the Côté Gold Mine Site. We offer a rotational schedule of 7 on, 7 off as well as 14 on 14 off.
We are actively seeking Mill Operators. The role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and controlling milling and processing equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous production. This role supports production targets by maintaining stable plant operation, monitoring process variables, and responding to process deviations while adhering to site safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Responsibilities
Operate mill and processing equipment safely and reliably, ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Follow required procedures, including pre‑operational checks, lock‑out/tag‑out, and safe start‑up and shutdown of equipment.
Monitor equipment and process conditions, identify faults or inefficiencies, and troubleshoot or report deficiencies as required.
Maintain strong housekeeping standards and promptly identify maintenance or operational issues within assigned areas.
Demonstrate sound judgement and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a production‑driven environment.
Pursue operational excellence by proactively identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to continuous learning and skill development.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet shift deliverables, resolve problems, and manage risk related to throughput, quality, sustainability, time, and cost.
Communicate clearly through logs, reports, and direct handover, while supporting training, mentoring, and an inclusive team environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Knowledge of mineral processing circuits, process control, and plant operations is an asset.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
6 months of mineral processing experience, and/or 2 years milling experience, and/or 4 years industrial experience.
Skills&Strengths, We Value
Strong understanding of milling fundamentals with the ability to apply sound operational judgement under pressure.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, supporting safe and coordinated operations.
Computer proficiency, with experience using process monitoring systems (e.g., OSIsoft PI, HMI displays) considered an asset.
Ability to meet occupational safety requirements, including use of respiratory protection when required.

Salary Range: $70,800 - $106,200+ Bonus
Signing Bonus:
Experienced Mill Operators MTCU certified on two or more mill circuits are eligible for a signing bonus following six months of successful employment.
