Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support our administrative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth office operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and customer service are paramount. Prior experience with office management, data entry, and clerical tasks is highly valued. This is a temporary part time opportunity but may lead to ull time employment Responsibilities - Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy - Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks - Handle filing, document proofreading, and organization of office supplies and records - Provide customer support via phone and in person, addressing inquiries efficiently and courteously - Assist with appointment scheduling and calendar management for various departments - Support bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, billing, and basic financial record keeping - Coordinate with team members to ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely - Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency Experience - Prior clerical or administrative experience preferred, including office experience or medical/dental office background - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools - Experience with Accounting Edge Pro or similar bookkeeping software is a plus - Solid typing skills with attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively - Customer service experience demonstrating professional phone etiquette and support skills - Familiarity with front desk operations, filing systems, and multi-line phone systems is desirable - Previous experience in medical or dental offices is advantageous but not required; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate Pay: $17.20-$24.00 per hour Benefits - Casual dress - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ot64s
