Business Line: Mid‑Market Commercial Hours Per Week: 35 (Full‑Time) Location: Ottawa, Ontario - Hybrid Setting Job Duration: Full‑Time, Permanent, Current Vacancy Wage Transparency: Base salary range: $80,000 to $90,000. Salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis by experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level, scope of the position, and geographic location. Performance‑based incentives may also apply. About the Role: The Ontario Commercial Lines Division seeks a Senior Account/Client Manager to manage day‑to‑day client interactions and maintain relationships with both client and carrier representatives, while supporting the broader commercial insurance business. Responsibilities - Collaborate with a producer to prepare applications, specifications, and marketing strategy for current business and renewals of an assigned book of business. - Provide professional and prompt customer service via phone, email, and walk‑in inquiries on new and existing client accounts, addressing questions on coverage, billing, claims reporting, audits, etc. - Identify revenue growth opportunities by spotting needs for additional lines of coverage, cross‑selling within the organization (P&C; lines, Group Benefits, Wealth Management), and generating referrals for new opportunities. - Lead efforts to maintain positive, long‑term relationships with clients, insurance carrier representatives, and internal NFP staff. Qualifications - RIBO license required. - Typical experience: more than 5 years in the insurance industry, either broking or underwriting. - Extensive experience placing multi‑line coverage on mid‑market to complex accounts. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. - Client‑focused mindset with proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships. - High‑level organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines, and technology. - Extensive insurance carrier relationships. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with EPIC system an asset.
