Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part Time Office Assistant to support our administrative team. This role involves handling various clerical and customer service tasks in a professional office workplace. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, experience with office software, and excellent organizational abilities to ensure smooth daily operations. This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to gain valuable administrative experience across multiple functions. Position is part time at present and may lead to full time position. Responsibilities Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with skilled phone etiquette Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks Assist with filing, document proofreading, and organizing office files for easy retrieval Support bookkeeping and basic financial tasks related to billing and invoicing Provide customer support via phone and email, addressing inquiries efficiently and courteously Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and manage calendars for staff members Assist with administrative projects such as preparing reports, maintaining office supplies, and supporting team members as needed Requirements Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles, preferably within a medical or dental office setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks Experience handling multi-line phone systems and front desk responsibilities Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette Ability to perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, and maintaining accurate records Previous experience in medical or dental office environments is a plus but not required Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced setting Pay: $17.20-$24.00 per hour Benefits Casual dress On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p2gsp
