Role Overview
Under the direction of the National Mining Sales Manager, the Mining Account Manager is responsible and accountable for managing the sales of equipment, related products and support commercial agreements in Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Responsibilities
Promote and sell Hitachi excavators&trucks and mining machine accessories, including ground engaging tools (GET), to the mining sector. Manage large mining accounts in collaboration with local product support operations to ensure customer satisfaction and aftermarket sales growth. Act as the customer representative for Wajax and the focal point for communication between the customer and Wajax regarding the mining sector.Prepare detailed quotations and product presentations in response to RFQs and tenders. Establish and maintain key relationships in the mining sector at the customer and industry association levels. Liaise with mining engineering firms and consultants. Maintain a high-level knowledge of machine specifications, features&benefits, and mining applications. Travel extensively (50–60% within assigned territories, occasional travel to the U.S. and overseas). Qualifications
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant mining and/or construction industry whole goods sales experience, preferably with direct mining experience. Heavy equipment whole goods experience and knowledge of specific mining equipment. Ability to travel (50–60%). Excellent ability to build internal and external relationships.Self‑motivated and strategic individual. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Benefits

Base pay $40,000.00–$50,000.00 per annum plus generous commission, with variations based on skills, expertise, and performance.
