Canadian Shield Health Care Services is in search of an outgoing, kind and ambitious Occupation Therapy Assistant/Physical Therapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) to provide clients in our service areas with a superior level of care. Qualifications

PTA/OTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferred

With previous experience working with a clinic and community setting is an advantage.

Personal, friendly demeanor with excellent relationship‑building skills

Knowledge using social media platforms such as Instagram for marketing purposes is a definite asset.

Duties And Responsibilities

Assisting physiotherapists with client care, including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs, etc.

Administrative duties, as required

Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals

Collecting outcome measure data

Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment

Inventory of clinical supplies
