In this position, you will leverage your significant experience in mechanical engineering design to ensure optimal layouts for heavy industrial and mining projects. Collaborating with multiple disciplines, you will prepare design calculations, sketches, and manage the timely flow of design information. Your input will be vital in maintaining design standards while overcoming engineering challenges. Key Responsibilities: - Create 3D models and layout arrangements - Prepare design briefs and sketches - Review engineering designs prior to fabrication - Conduct trade-off studies and document findings - Assist in field assignments and coordinate with teams Requirements: - Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma - 8+ years of layout design experience - Proven consulting experience - Proficient in SmartPlant, Solid Edge, Revit - Solid problem-solving and communication abilities Bring your expertise to WSP and contribute to innovative design solutions for industrial advancements.
