This role is also accountable for maintaining compliance for company programs and operational standards. Responsibilities - Ensures safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including secure lifting techniques, cleanliness of area, evacuations, down registers, emergency codes, and theft prevention. - Handles customer and Associate concerns and provides guidance as required. - Monitors all Front End associates ensuring proper coverage, coordinating breaks and providing assistance to outlying registers. - Provides training to Associates on systems and company procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs and initiatives, discounts, EAS system, and safety. - Oversees purchase, return and exchange transactions and assists with the correction of errors, providing approvals and verifying processes to meet company guidelines. - Ensures all EAS systems are functioning to standard, including cashiers deactivating and completing Failure to Deactivate logs. - Prepares registers for opening and closing daily, supports cashiers by providing change, maintains front end cash levels, and completes audits on register accuracy. - Oversees and promotes all company sponsor programs and initiatives, including credit card service, Walmart protection plan, charity initiatives, and discount programs. Requirements - Flexible availability — morning, afternoon, evening, and night shifts - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to lead and coordinate a team of front end associates - Attention to detail in cash handling and transaction oversight - Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.55 per hour.
