Responsibilities

Tasks
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Estimate costs and materials
Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
Install sheet metal flashings
Erect and dismantle scaffolds and other platforms
Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
Install, repair or replace shingle, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
