Clinical Educator in Nursing at Unity Health (Toronto)

Lead nursing education at Unity Health Toronto focused on Oncology and Endoscopy as a Clinical Educator. Enhance patient outcomes through educational strategies and collaborative practices. This position entails working closely with the Senior Clinical Program Director to support nursing staff through tailored educational programs. You will assess learning needs, lead training initiatives, and promote evidence-based best practices. Your role includes engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration and participating in hospital committees to represent the nursing perspective. Key Responsibilities: • Create targeted educational initiatives for nursing staff • Assess and adapt educational strategies to staff needs • Collaborate on corporate nursing education initiatives • Engage in quality improvement and research projects • Provide mentorship and coaching to nursing staff Requirements: • RN registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario • Master's degree in nursing or education necessary • At least 3 years of nursing experience in Endoscopy/Surgery preferred • Solid communication and leadership abilities • B.C.L.S.
