Job Overview This is a temporary seasonal position running from May to September 2026. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, The Banquet Server is responsible for supporting the execution of banquets, meetings, and special events, including event setup, food and beverage service, and breakdown, while providing professional and attentive service to Members and guests. Hourly wage range: $19.00 – $20.50, based on experience. Key Responsibilities The following outlines the primary responsibilities of this role, including but not limited to: - Provide professional, courteous, and attentive service during banquets, events, meetings, and special functions - Assist with event setup, including table settings, linens, chairs, décor, and service stations according to event specifications - Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately in accordance with banquet service standards - Follow event timelines, service sequences, and instructions provided by Banquet Captains or Supervisors - Clear tables, refresh settings, and maintain cleanliness throughout events - Support buffet service, plated service, and cocktail receptions as required - Ensure guest needs are anticipated and addressed promptly during events - Adhere to Smart Serve requirements and responsible alcohol service standards - Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and Club policies at all times - Assist with event breakdown and clean-up following functions - Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and event leadership to ensure seamless event execution Qualifications - Previous banquet, catering, or hospitality service experience is preferred - Smart Serve Certification – required - Strong customer service and communication skills - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment - Ability to follow detailed instructions and service standards - Flexibility to work evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules - Commitment to teamwork, reliability, and service excellence About The Boulevard Club For over a century, The Boulevard Club has built a reputation for time-honoured traditions, exemplary service, and outstanding athletic and social programming for Members of all ages.
