Our defense client is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to design and implement cloud-agnostic infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible Initial 1-year contract with strong possibility of extension or opportunity to convert to permanent full time. 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday Hybrid, 3 days onsite in Ottawa, ON - % remote options may exist for candidates located outside of Ontario. The selected candidate must be eligible for NATO Secret and Controlled Goods clearances (Last 10+ years spent in-country, without leaving for 6+ months). Responsibilities Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery Build and manage cloud-agnostic infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure and applications Administer containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration Optimize system performance and reliability across platforms Evaluate and integrate new Dev Ops tools to advance automation capabilities Implement system security best practices and compliance controls Must Haves Minimum 4+ years of Dev Ops experience managing infrastructure and automation Hands-on expertise with Terraform , Kubernetes , and Ansible for cloud and on-prem provisioning Strong Docker container management and CI/CD pipeline implementation experience Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus or ELK Stack Background with system hardening and security compliance practices Nice to Have Exposure to Azure and AWS Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code best practices Experience scripting in Python or Bash Familiarity with Git Ops practices and automation frameworks Understanding of virtualized network configurations and device management Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oi2wy
