Plm & Cad Engineer – Aircraft Design And Development Toronto

Responsibilities: Develop workflows for CAD (NX) data management within Teamcenter PLM systems. Integrate CAD tools such as NX, CATIA V5, and multi-CAD environments with Teamcenter PLM systems, and troubleshoot related issues. Conduct mentoring sessions and develop user documentation. Review CAD models to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, IT teams, and Siemens partners. Analyze, identify, and recommend improvements to engineering processes tailored to internal customer needs. Participate in workshops to gather requirements and define user stories. Interact with various engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure the applicability and effectiveness of proposed solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant industrial experience with Siemens NX software. Proficiency in CAD software such as NX and CATIA V5. Strong knowledge of GD&T;, PMI, and engineering standards. Positive overall understanding of PLM principles and hands-on experience with Teamcenter. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor others. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
