Duties Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, colour, blowouts, and treatments tailored to client preferences Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client experience and salon revenue Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere and addressing client needs promptly Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education Qualifications Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Cosmetologist with a valid license or certification as required by provincial regulations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, colouring, styling, and chemical treatments Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures within a salon setting Ability to upsell products and promote retail sales confidently Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members Previous experience managing front desk duties is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific responsibilities A passion for hairstyling, creativity, and continuous learning to stay current with industry trends Job Types: Part time, Casual Work Location: In person Pay: $32,400.00-$79,354.00 per year Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ojwbb
