Job Description Database and Elasticsearch Engineer (DB2, SQL & Elasticsearch) Job Summary The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with database technologies such as DB2 and MySQL, along with expertise in Elasticsearch indexing and query optimization. This role requires a strong understanding of database integration with Java/Python and familiarity with Snowflake architecture. A willingness to learn current technologies and adapt to evolving systems is essential. Prior experience in Fraud/Financial Analytics is a plus. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and indexing strategies for high-performance applications. Develop and fine-tune queries to enhance system efficiency and scalability. Manage and maintain Elasticsearch clusters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Collaborate with development teams to integrate databases with Java/Python applications. Analyze and troubleshoot database-related issues, providing timely resolutions. Work with Snowflake to leverage its architecture for data warehousing and analytics solutions. Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Proven experience with DB2 and MySQL database technologies. Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch indexing and query optimization. Familiarity with Snowflake architecture and its applications. Experience in integrating databases with Java/Python technologies. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Nice-to-Have Background in Fraud/Financial Analytics or related fields. Experience with cloud-based database solutions.
