Senior Design Manager in Civil Engineering (Toronto)

Lead civil engineering initiatives with ONxpress Civils as a Senior Design Manager focused on significant transport infrastructure projects. Ensure successful project execution in a quick-paced railway environment. In this senior role, you will manage the design process and oversee project compliance with established standards. With 7–10 years of extensive experience, particularly in railway projects, your leadership will direct the team in achieving project milestones and quality objectives. Engage various internal and external stakeholders to streamline communication and ensure project success throughout the GO Expansion initiative. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the design process and compliance standards • Facilitate and chair design reviews and workshops • Coordinate communications between stakeholders and project teams • Ensure comprehensive design documentation and records • Contribute to safety assessments and reports Requirements: • Engineering bachelor's degree, master’s degree an asset • 7–10 years in engineering, design, or project management • Experience with rail and transportation infrastructure • Strong leadership and organizational skills • Licensed Professional Engineer or similar qualifications preferred Support the modernization of rail infrastructure while fostering a culture of safety and innovation.
