The Role

We are hiring a Paid Social Media Buyer to plan, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns across our investor acquisition client portfolio. This is a performance-driven role with direct accountability for campaign-level results across two distinct funnel types.

For meeting booking clients, you are optimizing toward cost per booked meeting and lead quality — feeding a high-touch sales funnel where a qualified investor sitting on a call is the conversion event that matters. For self-directed investment clients, you are optimizing toward ROAS and cost per investment, driving investors through an online commitment journey without a sales call in between.

You will need to think differently across these two funnel types — the creative strategy, audience segmentation, and optimization logic are meaningfully different — and you will be expected to bring that nuance to every account you manage.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $75,000 based on experience

What You'll Do

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute paid social strategies across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and other relevant platforms, tailored to each client's offer, audience, and funnel type
  • Manage monthly budgets ranging from $10K to $100K+, pacing campaigns effectively to hit performance targets without overspend
  • Build precise audience targeting leveraging lookalike audiences, interest-based segmentation, custom audiences, and retargeting layers
  • Plan and execute new campaign launches with a clear hypothesis for what will work and why
  • Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and new ad formats — and bring relevant innovations to the accounts proactively

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance daily, making proactive adjustments to bids, budgets, audiences, and creative to maintain and improve results
  • Run structured A/B and multivariate tests on creative, copy, audiences, and placements — document findings and apply learnings systematically
  • Optimize across the full funnel for meeting booking accounts: from CPL to cost per booked meeting to downstream show rate signals
  • Optimize for ROAS and cost per investment on self-directed accounts, with an eye on lead quality and commitment rates

Creative Analysis & Briefing

  • Partner with the creative team to brief high-performing ad concepts — translate performance data into clear creative direction
  • Analyze creative performance at the element level: hook, visual, copy, CTA — identify what is driving results and feed that back into the brief cycle
  • Analyze video content performance for engagement patterns and conversion signals, refining creative briefs accordingly
  • Conduct ongoing competitor research using Meta Ad Library and other tools to benchmark creative and messaging approaches

Reporting & Insights

  • Translate campaign performance data into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Maintain accurate and consistent campaign documentation to support reporting and performance reviews
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of campaign setup and optimization SOPs as the role and portfolio evolve

What We're Looking For:

  • 2-4 years of hands-on paid social experience with demonstrated performance results
  • Deep proficiency in Meta Ads Manager — campaign architecture, audience building, creative testing, and optimization
  • Experience managing high-budget accounts (50K+/month) with direct accountability for performance KPIs
  • Ability to think across two distinct funnel types — sales call booking and self-directed online conversion — and optimize differently for each
  • Strong analytical instinct — you read data, form hypotheses, and act on them without being directed
  • Clear and concise communicator — you can translate performance data into plain language for non-technical stakeholders
  • Based in Canada or the United States

Strong Differentiators

  • Experience running paid media for financial services, investment products, or high-ticket offers where compliance and lead quality matter
  • Familiarity with investor acquisition funnels, capital markets marketing, or regulated investment offerings
  • Experience with both direct response lead generation and ROAS-based conversion campaigns within the same role
  • Working knowledge of tracking infrastructure — pixels, conversion events, UTM architecture — not just campaign execution

How You Work With Our Team:

Client Solutions & Strategy (Accounts)

The CSSM team owns the client relationship and strategic direction for each account. You receive client context, goals, and key messaging through them, and you surface performance insights and recommendations back through the same channel. You are not client-facing — the CSSM team translates your work into the client conversation.

Reporting

The reporting team owns the full-funnel performance picture. You are the primary contributor of paid media data to that view. You align with them on metric definitions, tracking accuracy, and campaign-level reporting so the numbers everyone sees are consistent and trustworthy.

Product & Tech

You work with product and tech on the tracking and measurement infrastructure that underpins your campaigns — pixels, conversion events, platform integrations, and UTM frameworks. When you identify tracking gaps or need platform-level technical support, this is where you bring it.

Creative

You will work in close collaboration with the Creative Performance Strategist — this will be one of your most important internal relationships. You bring the performance data and market signal; they translate that into creative concepts and execution. The quality of your feedback loop directly determines how fast creative improves across the portfolio. You share what is working at the element level, what audiences are responding to, and where creative is limiting performance — and they build from there.
