DTC Ecommerce Lead

(full-time/exclusive & permanent)

Location: Toronto, Canada on-site preferred (this is not a hybrid role)

Can be remote in North/South America if not in Ontario, CA

$65k - $75k annual compensation (base + quarterly bonus)

We are seeking a full-time, permanent DTC Ecommerce Lead to own the execution and performance of our Shopify websites across multiple premium consumer kitchenware brands. This role is for a hands-on operator who can also understand and implement strategy. Someone who has executed product launches and optimized shopping journey, cares deeply about detail, and takes full ownership of site quality and outcomes. Strategy and P&L are owned by our Head of DTC. This role owns making the site work every single day.

What you will own:

You will own the day-to-day execution of our Shopify websites. Executing strategy and ensuring objectives are met on-time. If something is broken, late, slow, or underperforming, you own it.

Your responsibilities include:

• Executing product launches, campaigns, and promotions on Shopify

• Managing homepage, collections, and PDP quality across brands

• Implementing bundles, pricing logic, upsells, and merchandising

• Executing CRO improvements and tests

• Managing Shopify apps, integrations, and QA

• Ensuring site speed, checkout health, and technical stability

• Coordinating with paid media, retention, creative, and operations teams to ensure smooth online execution

• Monitoring performance and identifying conversion opportunities

• Regular store performance reporting

What success looks like:

• Launches (product and promotions) execute on-time and cleanly

• Conversion rate and AOV improve consistently

• The site feels on-brand, premium, intentional, and reliable

• Issues are caught early and fixed fast

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of hands-on ecommerce experience, Shopify highly preferred

• Proven experience executing launches and promotions

• Strong merchandising and CRO instincts

• Comfortable working directly in Shopify and managing app stacks

• Highly detail-oriented and calm under pressure

• Objective/outcome-focused leader (not just task-oriented)

• Clear communicator with a strong ownership mindset

This role is not for you if:

• You are a coder with little store ownership/management experience

• You primarily relied on agencies or others to execute launches and site updates

• You do not embrace accountability and ownership of outcomes

• You dislike fast pace and frequent launches, preferring site maintenance

• You focus mainly on assigned task completion and leave outcome and performance management and performance to others
