Who we are?

The Primary Construction Team consists of ACCIONA Infrastructure Canada Inc. (ACCIONA) and Amico Major Projects Inc. (Amico), as Trillium Guideway Partners (TGP).

What is the project?

The Ontario Line ("OL") is a fully integrated, stand-alone, rapid transit system that connects Ontario Science Centre to the Exhibition and Ontario Place grounds. The Northern Civil, Stations and Tunnel ("NC") project consists of approximately 7 kms of underground subway and elevated guideway, with stations along the segment providing connections to surface bus and streetcar routes. The NC project has been divided into two main progressive design-build contracts: (1) the Elevated Guideways and Stations Contract ("EGS") and the Pape Tunnel and Underground Station Contract ("PTUS"), with supporting Early Works.

What is the Opportunity?

The Environmental Coordinator will work under the direction of the Environmental Compliance Officer to deliver a range of project deliverables including preparing documents for submission to the client or regulatory agencies and undertaking the submission of environmental documents through Document Control. AS an Environmental Coordinator, you will review and comment on technical reports, coordinate response to Metrolinx comments, liaise with design and construction teams for communicating and resolving environmental compliance related matters. Additional responsibilities include participating in Environmental Working Groups, project construction meetings, preparation of meeting minutes, coordination of audit findings and supporting environmental inspection documentation records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure all

• civil-related aspects of the project, including excavation, grading, curbs, sidewalks, cycle

tracks, and paving, are met.

• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of the civil scope tasks

and milestones.

• Review Design DWG, Shop DWG to capture any discrepancy and address the concerns to the

related stakeholder ahead of construction for resolution.

• Follow up with supporting department including Environmental, safety, Quality for their input

and submittal making sure meeting milestone dates for operation.

• Follow up with Subcontractor for their input and submittal and deliverable including shop

drawing, safety and environmental paperwork's, ITP's and quality packages and material

datasheet regarding the scope ensuring on time deliver.

• Developing Scope of work, Schedule draft, Quantity take-off and preparing presentation and

drafting construction sketches related to assigned activity.

• Managing meetings, taking the notes for minutes, and following up all items ensuring all of

them being addressed and closed in timely manner.

• Assist in preparing and managing project budgets and financial forecasts.

• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.

• Prepare and present regular progress reports, including updates on timelines, budget status,

and any issues encountered. Facilitate meetings to review progress and address any

concerns. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts,

change orders, and progress reports. · Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are

obtained and kept current. Perform other related duties as assigned, promoting a positive team

environment and a culture of collaboration.

You'll bring to the Team (Knowledge, Skills, Competencies)

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction in transit stations.

• Experience with TTC, Go Corridor and Metrolinx Specifications and Standards for Transit

Stations is an asset.

• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.

• Knowledge of stations construction practices, materials, and relevant local regulations and

standards.

• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with

diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• A commitment to safety, environment and quality, with a strong attention to detail.

• A positive attitude and a collaborative willingness is required.
