Interaction Designer, Toronto

Our FI client is looking for a Product / Interaction Designer to join their team. This will be a 12+ month contract, fulltime hours per week, and onsite 4x per week in downtown Toronto (near Union Station).

What you will do:

• Translate product requirements, user needs, and business goals into high-quality design solutions

• Create UI designs , interaction flows, wireframes, and prototypes

• Develop and refine existing design system by integrating visual design, interaction design, and systems thinking

• Understand user workflows and pain points, and produce, test and iterate on high quality designs to solve user needs

• Partner closely with product, engineering, marketing and strategy partners to define a north star and product experience for new features

What you will bring:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in Visual Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, with a focus on design systems.

• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Miro or Framer.

• Strong collaborative and communication skills

• Familiarity with data-informed decision making
